COMMUNITY GROUP HOSTS CANDIDATES FORUM

FOR EL DORADO COUNTY SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 2

SPECIAL ELECTION

Date: August 14, 2014

Place: Discovery Hills Church, 4270 Shingle Springs Drive,

Shingle Springs (next to Buckeye Elementary School)

Time: 6:00 to 8:00pm

The Shingle Springs Community Alliance is inviting all interested parties to a Candidates Forum for the position of El Dorado County Supervisor of District 2. The Vote By Mail ballots will be sent out on August 11th and the forum is set for Thursday, August 14th.

This is a pivotal time in the politics of El Dorado County. By the end of 2014 we will have 3 new supervisors representing constituents of 3 different districts within the county. Many long lasting decisions will be made by these new supervisors. It is imperative that voters take the time to investigate and understand the people that are in the race. This is why the Shingle Springs Community Alliance is providing the community with this opportunity to meet and hear from the candidates.

The format for the forum is as follows:

• Each candidate will get 2 minutes to introduce themselves.

• Each candidate will get 2 minutes to answer each question.

• Each candidate will get 1 minute to give a closing statement.
