Dear Shingle Springs Residents and Rural Lifestyle Supporters,
An ARCO gas station, convenience store (AM PM market) and car wash is proposed at the corner of Durock and South Shingle Roads across from the 76 station.
El Dorado County has released a Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration (Draft MND) environmental impact document for public review and comment.
The 30-day comment period is open from September 18 – October 17, 2025.
The Draft MND concludes that noise and traffic will not be a problem. Those conclusions, particularly for traffic impacts, may be questionable.
