Please send in your letters of support for the Shingle Springs Design Standards and Guidelines to the Clerk of the Planning Commission at: planning@edcgov.us
This effort has been over 10 years in the making and it wouldn't have been possible without your support and diligence.
If you choose to attend the Planning Commission meeting in person, know that the Design Standards is item 4 on the agenda, so it is difficult to know exactly what time it will be heard. That is why your letters of support are so important.
The county's announcement is below with links to the proposed Design Standards and instructions on how to virtually participate in the meeting.

On Thursday, December 11, 2025, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to review the draft Shingle Springs Design Standards and Guidelines and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for possible adoption.
IMPORTANT: The December 11, 2025 Planning Commission hearing will be held in the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS HEARING ROOM, 330 Fair Lane, Building A Placerville, CA.
