Clarification about Comments at the Scoping Meeting tonight, March 21

Greetings Shingle Springs Residents and Supporters,

We asked Pierre Rivas and Roger Trout at the Scoping Meeting tonight if the comments that were submitted in writing at the Scoping Meeting would be included in the Notice of Preparation (NOP) comments. We were told, "Yes, they will be included with all of the other comments that are submitted to Pierre Rivas."

We hope that clears up any confusion. Thank you to everyone that was able to make it to the Scoping Meeting. Although the NOP states that comments are due by March 29, please submit them to Pierre Rivas by March 25, as stated on the State's website. People at the meeting tonight asked what they can do to stop the project and there are several things you can do:

Send a response to the NOP,

Write the supervisors and ask for the project to be denied and the Community Region Line to be removed, contact information can be found at:
