Mission:
The Shingle Springs Community Alliance (SSCA) is a grassroots, community-based organization committed to promoting and preserving the rural quality of living in Shingle Springs. SSCA supports responsible growth that is harmonious with our existing Shingle Springs community.

Purpose:
It has come to the attention of many residents in Shingle Springs that the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors are going forward with land-use policy and zoning changes that will adversely affect the rural character of our Shingle Springs neighborhoods.  The Shingle Springs Community Alliance was formed to be a voice for our community, to oppose incompatible development and adverse policy changes, and to participate in the planning of our area.
