Dear Shingle Springs residents and rural lifestyle supporters,
The County is in the process of updating the Oak Resources Management Plan. Concerns are being raised because 100% tree removal is being contemplated to make room for development.
The Center for Sierra Nevada Conservation has put together a webpage to explain their alternative plan. Please visit their website and sign their petition if you support their position for better oak tree retention.
