SAVE THE DATE: Shingle Springs Community Meeting 3/3/16

Post date: Feb 16, 2016 2:40:12 PM

Dear Shingle Springs residents and rural lifestyle supporters,

The Shingle Springs Community Alliance, No San Stino, and Stop Tilden Park organizations are holding a Community Meeting to give you an update on several projects in Shingle Springs, including:

  • Community Plan

  • San Stino's Mill Creek project (San Stino was renamed to Mill Creek)

  • Casino Tribe's projects

  • Land use initiatives that will be on the June 2016 ballot

The meeting will be held on:

Thursday, March 3, 2016

Discovery Hills Church

4270 Shingle Springs Drive, Shingle Springs (next to Buckeye Elementary School). Please note that Discovery Hills Church is not affiliated with the sponsoring organizations.

To accommodate people who are home during the day and people who work during the day, two identical sessions will be available for attendees: Session 1 at 4:00pm and Session 2 at 6:30pm.

On Tuesday, February 9, 2016, the Board of Supervisors took action to keep Community Plans on the list of projects for the Long Range Planning staff. As such, it is in our best interest as a community to come together to create a Shingle Springs Community Plan to advocate for the preservation and enhancement of our lifestyle of a peaceful country community with ranches and homes on acreage for generations to come.

Please attend this important meeting.
