The Vote By Mail ballots for the District 2 Supervisor Special Election will be sent out on August 11. As a result, the Shingle Springs Community Alliance is hosting a Candidate Forum on Thursday, August 14. The forum will be held at the Discovery Hills Church next to Buckeye Elementary School and is tentatively set to start at 6:30pm. Please mark your calendars now and plan to attend this opportunity to hear from the candidates. We will send out a separate press release soon with more detailed information.
In addition, we received an email notice from the Shingle Springs/Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce announcing that the Chamber will host its forum on Wednesday, July 23, at 6:00pm at Cielo Estate Winery, 3040 Ponderosa Road. This is another great opportunity to hear from the candidates. Contact the Chamber at 530-677-8000 with any questions.
