ACTION ALERT! Attend 2/25/14 Board Meeting - Shingle Springs Community Region Lines and Targeted General Plan Amendment

Dear Shingle Springs residents and rural lifestyle supporters,

Urgent! This notice snuck up on us. Tuesday's Board of Supervisors agenda will include whether or not to include changes to the Shingle Springs Community Region Line in the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Targeted General Plan Amendment (TGPA). Remember, the Community Region Line is where the County intends to put the highest intensity of urban development. Shingle Springs has been telling the Board to remove the Community Region Line from Shingle Springs because we do not want to be a target for high density development.

We need to pack the Board Room and tell the Supervisors that we want the removal of the Shingle Springs Community Region Line included in the Targeted General Plan Amendment.
