Dear Shingle Springs residents and rural lifestyle supporters,

The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indian's gas station project is preparing to move forward.  There are several things you can do to get your concerns addressed regarding the encroachment permit for the utilities and driveway to the gas station.

1.  Submit your comments regarding the encroachment onto Shingle Springs Drive for utilities and the driveway to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors by June 26, 2016, at edc.cob@edcgov.us.  Links to the environmental reports (Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration and Initial Study) are available here:  http://edcapps.edcgov.us/Planning/ProjectInquiryDisplay.asp?ProjectID=20473

2.  Attend the Board of Supervisors hearing on June 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm, at 330 Fair Lane, Placerville.

3.  Donate to the El Dorado Council to help fund the legal team that will be assisting the community with this and other "tribe-related" issues.  The El Dorado Council is a 501c3 nonprofit (Please consult with your tax advisor to determine whether your donation is tax deductible in whole or in part).  More information about the El Dorado Council is available on their website:  http://eldoradocouncil.org.

Checks can be made payable and sent to:

    El Dorado Council Incorporated
    P.O. Box 504
    Shingle Springs, CA 95682

Thank you!
