FWD: Measure E amendments to general plan

Dear Shingle Springs residents and rural lifestyle supporters,

Please see the post below from Save Our County regarding Judge Stracener's ruling on Measure E.

FYI - EDCARP (Alliance for Responsible Planning), is the party who filed the lawsuit against Measure E. In December 2015, many of EDCARP's members also lobbied for the Board of Supervisors to approve the higher-density General Plan, which is now being challenged in court by Rural Communities United (RCU). Additionally, several of the same EDCARP members joined with Laurel Brent-Bumb, the Chief Executive Officer of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce, to lobby the Board of Supervisors not to implement Measure E. Beware of the political influences in El Dorado County.

The document below shows the effects of Judge Stracener's court ruling on how Measure E has amended the El Dorado County General Plan. The document was prepared by the petitioner in the case, EDCARP, and aligns with the Press Release published by El Dorado County.

Save Our County is consulting with its legal counsel to determine whether or not to pursue an appeal of the ruling.
