Dear Shingle Springs residents and supporters,

The meeting on July 11 was a great start to opening up some dialog between the developer and the community to plan the future of the San Stino property.  We learned after the meeting that we all had so much to say that we didn't get to see the entire presentation that MIG had prepared to engage us in creating several alternatives for the property.  Several ideas were brought up after the meeting that may be good alternatives to the current proposal of 1,041 homes.  One of the goals of the meeting was to create several alternatives to include in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR).

The Comment Card from the meeting is attached for your reference.  If you didn't get a chance to send one in yet or weren't able to attend the meeting, please take the time to fill out the Comment Card and send it to the developer at shinglesprings@yahoo.com.  Your email is an opportunity for you to tell the developer what you would like to see developed on the San Stino property, and whether or not you would like MIG to hold another meeting for more brainstorming on alternatives to the current proposal, or make the entire presentation and materials available online.
